Under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, the Los Angeles Philharmonic made a triumphant debut in Caracas on Saturday, February 11, at the Ríos Reyna Hall of the Teresa Carreño Theater.

In an unprecedented concert at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, 99 musicians from the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela and 91 from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, along with eight internationally-renowned soloists and a chorus of more than 800 singers performed Mahler’s work that pays tribute to life, creation, joy and God's work before an audience of 8,000.
