From September 28 to October 9, the Center for Social Action Through Music in Caracas will be the venue for the 2011 Young Pianists' Festival presented by the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Venezuela.
The festival features soloists Ana Karina Álamo, , Olga López and Javier Rameix (Venezuela), (Ukraine), Ferhan and Ferzan Önder (Austria), and Alexía Mouzá (Greece-Venezuela) and comprises recitals, symphony concerts and master classes.
The Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, the Teresa Carreño Youth Orchestra, and the Caracas Symphony Youth Orchestra, three of El Sistema’s top orchestras, will participate in the festival under the baton of maestros Pablo Castellanos, , Christian Vásquez, Dietrich Paredes and Manuel López
